映画 ‘Good Will Hunting’ の1シーンからー

NHK BSプレミアムで映画 『グッド・ウィル・ハンティング/旅立ち』（‘Good Will Hunting’，1997）を，8年ぶりに観ました。

マット・デイモン（‘Matt Damon’，1970～ ）が，ハーバード大学時代の宿題で書いたものを基に，幼なじみの ベン・アフレック（‘Ben Affleck’，1972～ ）と共同執筆した ‘Good Will Hunting’ は アカデミー賞，ゴールデン・グローブ賞で脚本賞を受賞しています。

マット・デイモン演じるウィルが暴行事件を起こし，保釈の条件となった，定期的にセラピーを受けることが，サジを投げた数人の心理学者の後に担当する，ロビン・ウィリアムズ（‘Robin Williams’, 1951～ 2014）演じる，大学の心理学講師 ショーン・マグワイアにウィルが唐突にジョークを話すシーンを英語で聴いてみました。

You know, I was on this plane once.
And I'm sittin' there and the captain comes on and is like "we'll be cruising at 35,000 feet," and does his thing,

then he puts the mike down but forgets to turn it off. 
Then he says "man,

all I want right now is a blow-job and a cup of coffee."
So the stewardess goes runnin' up towards the cock-pit to tell him the mike's still on,

and the guy in the back of the plane goes "don't forget the coffee!"

You've never been on a plane.

I know, but the joke's better if I tell it in the first person.
