自身の支持者の死に対し 政府組織に半旗掲揚を命令，非常識？ 公私混同？

米国の保守派活動家で，ドナルド・トランプ大統領の熱烈な支持者のチャーリー・カーク（31）が9月10日，ユタ州のユタ・ヴァレー大学のイベントで銃撃され，死亡しました。

そして 同日，トランプは 政府関連施設，米軍施設に対して 9月14日日没までの 星条旗の半旗掲揚の大統領命令に署名しました。

一人の民間人の死に 全米 および 海外の政府施設に半旗掲揚の命令とは驚きです。
数ヶ月前に民主党のミネソタ州下院議員メリッサ・ホートマン氏が暗殺された際には行われていません。
常識では測れないトランプです。彼に 常識を求めるのは無理なのでしょうね。
President を King と 取り違えているのは間違いないようですが，誰も言えないようです。

As a mark of respect for the memory of Charlie Kirk, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, September 14, 2025.

I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.
また，すべての軍事施設，海軍艦艇及び基地を含む，すべてのアメリカ合衆国大使館，公使館，領事館，及びその他の海外施設においても，同じ期間，国旗を半旗で掲揚することを命じる。

‘US Flag Code’ によれば  半旗掲揚に該当するケースは 通常 ー 

○国家的悲劇：
   テロ攻撃などの国家的悲劇の後。
○政府関係者の死：
   現職または元大統領，副大統領，最高裁判所長官，最高裁判所判事，閣僚，または連邦議会議員の死後。
○軍隊および救急隊員：
   任務中に亡くなった軍人または救急隊員。

大統領の判断でその他も可能のようですがー。
